Elijah Ho is the new classical music writer for the Bay Area News Group (The Mercury News). He is also a regular contributor to San Francisco's NPR/PBS affiliate, KQED, and the San Francisco Examiner newspaper. Ho has conducted over one-hundred interviews with musicians ranging from Yo-Yo Ma, John Adams and Leon Fleisher, to artistic administrators like Ara Guzelimian and Richard Rodzinski.
Before moving to San Francisco, Ho studied Music at l’Université de Montréal where he majored in piano. His teachers were Ronald Turini, Jimmy Brière, and the gold medalist of the 1980 International Chopin Competition, Dang Thai Son.
